Although I wasn't anxious to return home - it is certainly good to be here! I love our space and it was great to see the little ones ( and the big ones too).
The addition to the house is really coming along as well! It is going to be beautiful!
This past weekend, we attended a memorial service for Charlie's brother Bill's wife who died this past February. We were lucky enough to have met Beth the summer before last. This also gave us a chance to finally meet more of Charlie's long lost family - his sisters Bonnie and Sandy, in particular. We all had lunch together after the service. It was a sad but really nice afternoon.
The Ouro-Djobos left for a week down on the cape with their friends so Charlie and I have the whole house to ourselves! I enjoy puttering around and hanging out upstairs especially on these excruciatingly hot days; it's when I really enjoy the central air conditioning. I am lucky my daughter doesn't mind me cleaning and straightening her house. I hope I am being a help to her with all that she has to do in her life.
I also started getting my bag packed for our trip to France next Sunday on July 4th. I just have a carry-on and can fit everything I need easily. I don't need much. Today I also picked up some Euros from the bank, to have on hand for just in case.
Stoughton's July 4th celebrations begin sometime this weekend; I'm hoping Charlie and I will take part in some of the festivities. And then.... I'm jetting off to France >>>>>>>>>
