Did Somebody Say Chocolate? - Off to Hershey - #29

Hershey, PA is a very special city. From what we have seen of it, it seems to be an amalgamation of freshly hayed farmland and beautifully kept neighborhoods; gorgeous old homes - many mid-century modern design - all perfectly, colorfully landscaped. As we drove to HersheyPark from Hershey Road RV Park just 8 miles down the road, comments like "This is lovely, this is so just nice" kept popping out of my mouth.  I felt a little like Bryce Langston from Living Big in a Tiny House.

It's been 30+ years since I last visited Hershey. I'm a big fan of these types of parks - Disneyworld still being my number one.  Charlie and I really enjoyed ourselves! We rode a couple of rollercoasters, on which he teased me mercilessly! The Laff House in particular was crazy indoor coaster that spun around so much, as the ride slowed down, my head was literally still spinning! Took at least a minute to get back to normal! We rode the Skyride, Carousel, saw the Aqua Show. Needless to say - we did a lot of walking and I hit my 10,000 step goal!  We had a great day!

From Hershey, we were on our way back to Milford, PA.  We had a stopover at Coleman's Military Surplus in Millersburg, indirectly on the way back, to pick up poles for Charlie's antenna projects.
Our road trip was coming to an end.
